For dressing vegetable salad, I advise you to use a light dressing based on olive oil and lime juice. You should not season the salad with mayonnaise, as it will overshadow the taste of vegetables.

Ingredients for 3 servings

  • Fresh cucumber 150 gr.
  • Tomato 200 gr.
  • Bulgarian pepper 100 gr.
  • Red onion 40 gr. (ideally Yalta)
  • Radishes 50 gr. (optional)
  • Avocado 100 gr.
  • Lettuce leaves 60 gr. (optional)
  • Olive oil 15 ml.
  • Lime juice 10 ml. (can be replaced with lemon juice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Preparing vegetable salad

  • Peel the cucumber with a housekeeper. Cut into half rings.
  • Cut the tomato into slices 1.5-2 cm thick.
  • Remove the skin from the avocado and cut into 1-1.5 cm cubes.
  • Cut the red onion into half rings. Cut the radish into thin rings or half rings.
  • Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut into half rings.
  • Tear the lettuce leaves with your hands.
  • Combine everything in a bowl, salt and pepper. Add olive oil and lime juice. Mix thoroughly and serve.
