How to cook fish in flavored crumbs

  • Fish fillet - 500 g
  • Parsley - 3 sprig (s)
  • Sour cream - 4 tablespoons
  • Crackers - 60 g
  • Hard cheese - 30 g
  • Spices to taste
  • Garlic - 1 tsp dry or a fresh clove
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tsp for the form
  • Butter - optional
  • Salt to taste

Preparation: Step 1

  • All the preparations for this dish can be made in advance, and the preparation itself does not require any effort and will take a minimum of time. Even a novice housewife can handle this recipe, because it is very simple to prepare it.

  • First of all, you need to prepare the very fragrant crumb, under which the fish will be baked. To do this, mix crackers, chopped parsley, salt, spices and grated cheese, add dry garlic and stir.

It is desirable that the crumb is not very small, so you can safely grind a piece of stale white bread in a blender, adding parsley to it right away.

From spices, you can use a mixture for fish, Italian or Provencal herbs.

I use dry garlic, it has a more delicate taste and aroma, but you can also use a fresh chive. It is best chopped with bread and herbs.

The cheese i useGrano Served finely grated, but any hard cheese can be used.

The crumb can be placed in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator and stored for 1-2 days.

  • Prepare fish fillets. I took pike perch, but you can choose any other fish you like - white or red.

I always cook fillets in advance, when I cut the fish before freezing. Immediately I vacuum it with pieces of the size I need, after removing all the bones. Therefore, before cooking, I just need to defrost the bag with fish and dry the pieces with a paper napkin.

If necessary, cut fish into portions, remove large bones and blot excess moisture. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, put the fish fillets in one layer.

  • Brush the fish fillet with sour cream and season with salt and spices to your liking. At this stage, the formcan be tightened with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator.

    #
  • Before serving, the fish will only need to be put in the oven and baked, sprinkled with prepared crumbs. Please note that when using parmesan and similar cheese, put pieces of butter on top of the crumb (total 30 grams).

If you use regular hard cheese, you don't need to do this, but, in my opinion, it tastes better with butter.

    #
  • Bake the fish for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees. When the kitchen is filled with the garlic-creamy aroma, it's time to get the fish in the fragrant crumbs out of the oven.

    #
  • Serve the fish hot.

If you know that there will be no time for baking before the guests arrive, or the oven will be busy, this dish can be prepared in a day, and just reheat before serving.
