Ingredients

  • Tomatoes 1000 gr. (can be replaced with canned tomatoes).
  • Red chili pepper 20 gr.
  • Garlic 4-5 cloves.
  • Cilantro 30 gr.
  • Salt 10 gr.
  • Sugar 25 gr.
  • Suneli hops 10 gr.
  • Ground coriander 3-5 gr.

Cooking homemade adjika

  • The first step is to remove the skin from the tomatoes. To do this, make an incision on the tomatoes, dip in boiling water for 20 seconds, and immediately put in ice water. Let them soak for 1-2 minutes in ice water and remove the skin from them.
  • Chop the tomatoes into small cubes. Chop the garlic and chili pepper 2 times smaller than the tomatoes.
  • Rinse the cilantro, pat dry and chop finely.
  • Combine all ingredients together. Add spices according to the list, if necessary, put more spices, this is up to you.
  • Mix thoroughly, transfer to a container with a tight-fitting lid and put the adjika in the refrigerator.
